Kurnool: Prospective groom, family members test positive for Covid
Kurnool: A prospective groom and his family members were tested positive for Coronavirus in Ammavarisala in Chagalamarri mandal of Allagadda constituency on Sunday.
This incident came to light on Monday with the medical staff rushed to the village. According to information, the bridegroom and his family members, residents of Pamarru village in Vijayawaya, have come to Kurnool to participate in alliance fixation.
To reach Kurnool, they flew by air to Kadapa and from there, they reached the Ammavarisala by road. Before flying to Kurnool, the family members including prospective groom was given blood samples for testing the virus symptoms. Both family members, bride and bridegroom have happily celebrated the alliance fixation ceremony. Later in the evening, the groom family members again flew back to Vijayawada.
In the meantime, the results yielded positive to groom and his family members. The district administration on receiving the information, rushed to Chagalamarri and informed the bride's family members about the groom and his family members affected with virus.
On learning about the issue, the bride's family members were in a state of panic. The medical staff has also taken the blood samples of bride and her family members besides tracking the contacts of the groom. This is the second incident that the groom was tested positive for virus. Three days ago, a groom and a resident of Marrimanu Thanda in Pathikonda constituency, was also tested positive and shifted to isolation just a day after the marriage was performed. Even the bride and her family members were placed under home quarantine.
