Kurnool: Railway police use fingerprint scanner to track rowdy sheeters
Kurnool: To have a check on the whereabouts of the old rowdy sheeters the Government Railway Police at Nandyal Railway station have come up with an innovative idea. They are using the finger-print scanners to track the details of the suspicious persons moving in and around the railway station limits.
On Thursday the Circle Inspector of Nandyal Railway Police Station, Venkateshwarlu speaking to media persons, said that the finger print scanner is very useful in detecting the suspicious people if they have rowdy sheet. When the fingers are scanned, a list appears on the screen with his details. Almost all the details pertaining to the suspicious person could be known through this fingerprint scanner, stated the Circle Inspector.
