Kurnool: Sharp decline in Covid cases

Two recovered women discharged from Kurnool isolation ward on Monday

Kurnool: Registering of Covid-19 positive cases is gradually declining in Kurnool district. Only 9 cases have been reported on Monday taking the total count to 575. While the cases are declining, the number of discharges is increasing by every passing day. Similarly, the number of deaths is also on the rise and the district registered 16 deaths since two months. This is concerning the residents of the district but they are happy with the early recoveries and high number of discharges. Of the total 575 positive cases, active are 292.

All nine cases are reported from Kurnool town on Monday. Kurnool Government General Hospital Superintendent Narendranath Reddy said that two women were discharged from Kurnool Covid hospital on Monday evening. The duo was admitted at the hospital after detecting positive symptoms at the Kurnool isolation ward.

The dischargers thanked the doctors and nurses for their continuous medication and acute care helped them to recover faster in the isolation ward. While sending they were instructed to be taken care at home. Even Rs 2,000 has been given as per Covid-10 protocol, stated the Superintendent Narendranath Reddy.
