Guntur: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah's brother Lalith Shah conducted election campaign in Guntur on Sunday for the victory of party candidates in the coming elections. He urged the voters to elect BJP candidates for development. He participated in the car and bike rally conducted in Guntur East and West Assembly constituencies.

BJP candidate for Guntur Parliamentary constituency Valluru Jayaprakash Narayana assured that he will develop infrastructure and solve the drinking water problem, if he is elected. He said he would be within the reach of people and solve their problems.

He criticised that the local MP Galla Jayadev rarely visits the constituency and neglected the problems and confined to business. He urged the voters to elect Nerella Suresh as MLA. BJP candidate for Guntur East Assembly constituency Nerella Suresh urged the voters to defeat TDP. He assured that he will develop the constituency as model constituency.

The rally which started at NTR Bus Station reached Nehru Nagar via Sankar Vilas Centre, Sri Nagar and Donka Road in Guntur city. Party Guntur West Assembly candidate Madhavi Latha, BJP Guntur city president Ammisetty Anjaneyulu, former corporator Nerella Madhava Rao, Nerella Sudev were among those participated.
