Libraries should be strengthened, says MLA Adireddy Bhavani

Rajamahendravaram: MLA Adireddy Bhavani has underlined the need to strengthen libraries in all aspects which is the need of the hour and advised parents to send their children to the libraries.

Participating in Women's Day celebrations held as part of national library week at Gowthami Regional Library (GRL) here on Tuesday, she said former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was a great leader with high leadership qualities. Celebrating Women's Day in her memory is an honour to her and everyone should learn leadership qualities from her.

The MLA said Indira was an inspiration to all. She underlined the need to know the biography of great personalities in the country. The regional library is an asset to the historical city and elite of the city should come forward to develop the century old library for future generations, she added.

Rare and valuable books are available in the library and they cannot be found in any other place, she informed. She assured to extend her help for the overall development of the library and asked the respective officials to inform her about the needs. Gazetted Librarian RCH Venkat Rao, Dr Aripirala Narayana Rao, former corporator K Chandi Priya and many others were present.
