Lingamaneni Prasant receives 9 awards

Vijayawada: Lingamaneni Prasant, son of Dr L Krishnaprasad, dean of Cibar Dental College received nine awards at the 21st convocation of NTR UHS held here on April 2.

Dr Prasant who completed his MBBS at NRI Medical College, Mangalagiri in 2016 is now associated with King County Hospital in Chicago, USA.

At the convocation, he was given nine awards, gold medal and cash reward for scoring highest marks during six years of MBBS course, gold medal for securing highest score in medicine subject in the state, gold medal for best student in state, gold medal for best student in medicine subject, gold medal for scoring highest mark in medicine subject, best student in state for MBBS, merit scholarship for highest score in coastal Andhra in final year MBBS, prize for highest score in ENT subject in state and merit student prize in ENT subject in state.

In his absence, his grandfather Dr Lingamaneni Subba Rao and father Dr Krishnaprasad received the awards from Dr VS Chouhan, chairman of National Assessment and Accreditation Council executive council.

Cibar Dental College director Dr T Krishnamohan, principal Dr BV Ramana Reddy, heads of departments, teaching staff and others congratulated Dr Prasant on the occasion.
