Loans worth 131.55 crore distributed in Guntur

Guntur: Additional District Judge K Srinivasa Rao urged the beneficiaries who have taken loans from the bank to repay them within the stipulated time to facilitate officials to sanction loans to other persons.

He said, if the loan is repaid within the stipulated time, it would reduce the legal complications. Following orders from the Union Ministry of Finance, all the banks on Sunday conducted a Seva Mahotsavam in Narasaraopet and distributed Rs 131.55 crore financial assistance to 2271 beneficiaries.

Andhra Bank General Manager Ch Srinivasa Sastry, DCC convener M Srinivas, DRDA project director Yugandhar Kumar, Canara Bank AGM KVK Prasad, officials of various banks were present.
