Former chief minister and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu who held a press meet a while ago has taken a dig at YSRCP government led by chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy for his unilateral attitude to hold local body elections amid the coronavirus outbreak in the state. "How come you could hold elections when the whole world is in a stigma of coronavirus, " Naidu questioned.

He said that the coronavirus is fast spreading across the world. Many countries have closed their borders due to Coronavirus outbreak and have taken steps to prevent the arrival and departures from the US from coming to Europe. He recalled that the local body elections in Bengal were also postponed due to coronavirus.

While the coronavirus has been taken seriously by all the nations of the world, the chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is going forward to hold elections without taking any actions against Corona. It is irresponsibility on Jagan to give a loose comment of the virus, which is attacking in the state. "Will paracetamol and bleaching powder cure the coronavirus?" Naidu questioned.

He said as many as 6770 people came from abroad and asked whether they all performed medical tests.
