Lokesh to strengthen party before civic polls
Guntur: TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh Naidu said that he will strengthen the party before the local body elections. Addressing party leaders meeting at TDP office in Mangalagiri on Thursday, Lokesh said that he will conduct mandal-level party meetings first to strengthen the party.
He assured that he will recognise the activists those who work for party and he would be within the reach of activists. He came down heavily on the YSRCP for giving more importance to demolitions than solving the people's problems. He said Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was following the footsteps of his father and recalled that during the YS Rajasekhara Reddy's government in the first 100 days, 60 TDP activists were murdered.
He said similarly, six YSRCP activists were killed during the one-month ruling of YSRCP ruling. He also criticised the YSRCP government for abolishing the mid-day meal scheme introduced by the TDP government.
