Lorry driver dies as the vehicle catches fire after a collision in Anantapur
In a horrific incident, two lorries collided in Tadipatri town in Anantapur district near Kadapa road. The driver of the lorry died on the spot in the accident after the fires erupted. Going into details, a lorry carrying a load of rice scrap from the tadpole, and another lorry coming from Kadapa with a load of black coal has collided. The driver of a coal truck Nishar belonging to Uttar Pradesh was burst into flames after the lorry set into fire.
Meanwhile, two people in another lorry were seriously injured. The locals and the police worked hard for hours and brought down the fire. The casualties were then taken out and rushed to the hospital in Anantapur.
Police have registered a case and are investigating it and found that the cause of accident was due to over speed. The traffic on the highway was blocked for some time. The police got into the field and cleared the vehicles later.
