Machilipatnam: BSF jawan Hussain's last rites performed

Machilipatnam: A pall of gloom descended in Machilipatnam on Sunday as the body of Jawan Sheikh Haji Hussain of the Border Security Force (BSF) reached his home town.

Relatives, friends, freedom-fighters, ex army personnel's and others paid their last wishes and took part in the procession from Moodu Stambala Centre to his residence. The parents, relatives and friends were in deep sorrow and in tears as the body reached their residence.

The jawan's last rites were performed with military formalities in the evening. It may be recalled that the martyr Sheikh Haji Hussain died when he was hit by an avalanche in Uttarakhand on Thursday.
