Madakasira: TDP leaders vow to complete pending irrigation projects
Madakasira (Sathya Sai district): TDP district president BK Parthasaradhi said if the TDP is voted back to power, it will complete all irrigation projects left halfway when it was in power. After YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took over as the Chief Minister, not an inch of progress was made during the past four years, he added.
Along with the party leaders, he visited the reservoir site and HLC canal works here on Tuesday.
TDP leaders Palle Raghunath Reddy, Tippe Swamy and Umasankar Naidu took a selfie of Ralla reservoir and Handri-Neeva canal sites to expose the dismal performance of the YSRCP government on the irrigation front. They promised the public to improve the lot of betelnut farmers by completing irrigation projects left mid-way. The TDP leaders reiterated that every promise made by Nara Lokesh will be fullfilled when the party returns to power in 2024.
