Madiga leaders hail creation of corporation
Vijayawada: As a mark of gratitude to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for announcing a special corporation for Madiga community, APURPS state president and Telugu states chairman P Venkateswara Rao Madiga along with APURPS state vice-president M Suresh and others met AP Skill Development Corporation chairman Ch Madhusudan Reddy and extended their greetings on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Venkateswara Rao said that the chief minister had done justice to the Madigs, Mala and Relli communities by announcing corporations and appealed to the government to release funds for the benefit of the people.
He said that to put pressure on the central government for classification of SCs, they would organise 'Chelo Delhi' programme on December 10 before the commencement of winter session of Parliament. P Das, N Chinna, Ch Suresh and others were present.
