Man brutally murdered in Kurnool district

Orvakal: In a horrific incident, a man was found brutally murdered between Uppalapadu and Uyyalawada in the Orvakal mandal of Kurnool district on Thursday.

According to the sources, V Lakshana (40), a native of Bukkapuram village in Veldurthi mandal got married to Parvathamma of Nayakallu village in Kallur mandal. The couple has two daughters and a son.

The elder daughter Sivalalita got married to Ramesh of Uyyalawada village. Lakshana, his wife, and two children lived in Nayakallu village for ten years.

On June 5, 2019, a clash broke out between Lakshana and Venkateshwarlu (19) over the wall of a house. In the attack, Venkateshwarlu died on the spot. On the incident, the police have registered a case against Lakshana, five others and arrested and sent them to jail.

Six months ago, they got released from the jail on bail. After coming out, Lakshanna shifted to Bukkapuram village. Recently, he joined in work at the local granite factory.

According to the eyewitness, five people arrived in an Indica car, attacked Lakshanna with swords and killed him by throwing stones on his head. Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot, registered a case and shifted the body to the Kurnool government hospital for post-mortem.
