Mangalagiri And Tadepalli Municipalities To Be Developed As A Single Municipality
Municipalities of Mangalagiri and Tadepalli constituencies in Andhra Pradesh are likely to be developed so with goof infrastructure and transportation. MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy (RK) has suggested to the authorities that the two municipalities should be developed together. He conducted the review on Tuesday at the Tadepalli Municipal Office along with Municipality Superintendent, Joint Collector SN Dinesh Kumar and officials of various departments. Speaking on the occasion, MLA RK as popularly known as said that the municipalities of Mangalgiri and Tadepalli should be considered as one.
If the two municipalities merged into a metropolitan area, the area would be very much developed, and the development of the two, together with some of the work would be a burden to the government. In particular, drinking water is needed by the two municipalities, so the government can reduce the cost of the raw water from the Krishna river, filtering it through gravity and setting up a dumping yard.
The municipality of Tadepalli and Mangalagiri advised that there are ponds should be filled with rainfalls to increase groundwater. In the hilly areas, they should be able to choose alternative places without using forest land.
As far as possible, joint planning for the municipalities of Mangalagiri and Tadepalli would be very useful. Tadepalli Municipal Commissioner Ravichandra Reddy and others participated in the review meeting.
