Mega free health camp tomorrow in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan would be the chief guest of the 33rd anniversary celebrations of MJ Naidu Hospital on October 12, said the hospital chairman Dr MJ Naidu here on Thursday.

Addressing the media, Dr Naidu said that a mega free health camp will be organised which will be inaugurated by the governor. He said that in the past 33 years, they have treated thousands of patients with the best and advanced health services.

He said that in the mega free health camp, bone density tests, BP, diabetes test, X-ray, PRP tests along with free medicines will be given to the patients. He said that MRI, lab test will be done with 50 percent discount and appealed to the poor people to make use of this mega health camp.

He said that through their Trust, they have taken up 'No Plastic – Save Environment'. They would organise programmes and create awareness among schoolchildren, students and general public on the ill effects of plastic.

Hospital managing director M Madhuri said that on the anniversary, District Collector Mohammad Imtiaz, VMC Commissioner V Prasanna Venkatesh and others would be present.
