Megha begins concrete works in Polavaram to construct the spillway area by June 2020

Ever since the Megha group acquired the contract rights to built the major irrigation project that belongs to Andhra Pradesh Polavaram, the construction works began on war foot. The Megha group headed by Krishna Reddy has acquired the contract in the process of reverse tendering launched by YSRCP govt.

The construction works were inaugurated last month, and the group has hired the Kaleshwaram experts for construction of spillway. In the latest development, the Megha has started its era in the Polavaram project.

The concrete works for the construction of spillway began on Thursday. It is reported that 100 cubic meters of concrete works are is likely to be done. And the Megha is expecting for 2000 cubic meters concrete works to be done for the day to complete the Polavaram Spillway area.

On the other hand, it is noted that 1.50 crore cubic concrete works are said to be held to built Rockfill dam, which will be completed in June 2021. Megha announces the completion of spillway works by June 2020.
