Mekapati extends financial help to orphaned siblings

Minagallu (Nellore district): In a humanitarian gesture, YSR Congress Party Atmakuru MLA Mekapati Vikram Reddy extended financial help to two orphaned siblings, whose parents died by suicide due to family problems recently in Minagallu village of Ananthasagaram mandal.

Going into details, Nuripogu Venkatesh and his wife Venkata Ratnamma recently committed suicide due to family problems. They had two children - N Anusri (5) and N Vardhan (3). After their parents’ death, the duo has been staying with their grandmother N Adi Lakshmi in the village.

After knowing the pathetic incident through local party leaders, the MLA called Adi Lakshmi to his camp office in Nellore and handed a cheque for Rs 40,000 to her here on Tuesday.
