Minister Adimulapu Suresh releases Open School SSC, Inter results

Vijayawada: Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh released the Andhra Pradesh Open School Society (APOSS) Intermediate and SSC examination results on Saturday.

A total of 56,149 attended the SSC examination and 39,263 of them passed. A total of 59,867 students have applied for the examination. The examination was conducted in 208 centres in the State and the pass percentage is 69.93.

Similarly, 41,367 Intermediate students passed the examination against the 60,997 students who attended registering a pass percentage of 67.82. A total of 64,279 students have applied for the examination.

Speaking on the occasion, Education Minster Suresh said advanced supplementary examinations will be conducted from July 11 to 18 and the students can pay the examination fee without penalty between June 17 and 21. He said the examination fee with penalty can be paid till June 26.

SSC students have to pay Rs 100 per each paper and the Intermediate students have to pay Rs 150 for each paper.

The students have the facility for recounting of marks. Intermediate students can opt for recounting on payment of Rs 200 for each paper and for which the SSC students have to pay Rs 100 per paper. The APOSS is providing facility for re-verification of answer paper on payment of Rs 1,000 for each paper.

The Minister has congratulated APOSS Director R Narsimha Rao and other officials for successfully completing the valuation of papers and releasing the results in short span of time.

He said the guidelines for admissions into Open School will be released on June 28, 2019 and the students can send online applications by August 26 and can pay the examination fee by August 31.
