He visited Special Spandana programme in Guntur east and west tahsildar's offices in city on Saturday and enquired about the response. He asked the officials why the eligible farmers did not apply for the scheme and instructed them to solve problems of farmers.

Referring to 'Rythu Bharosa Scheme,' he said though Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy promised Rs 12,500 for four years, he had given Rs 13,500 in first year and added the government will give same amount every year.

He said some farmers did not enroll their family details in Prajasadhikara Survey and some farmers did not link their Aadhaar with bank accounts.
