Amaravati: Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Botcha Satyanarayana warned the TDP and BJP leaders indirectly. He reacted against the criticism launched by the opposition parties, based on his previous statement that the capital inundated with floods and need to rethink on it.

Speaking to media persons at Secretariat on Monday, he stated that, "The government has full information on the misdeeds which took place on the name of Amaravati capital. We will reveal those details at the appropriate time". The minister further categorically said that one former union minister who is a Rajya Sabha member said that he has no lands in Amaravati region. If he challenges us, then we will reveal the details, he added. In other words, the minister indirectly warned the BJP Rajya Sabha member Sujana Chowdary.

Denying to react on the statement of BJP MP TG Venkatesh that the state would get four capitals, the Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Botsa Satyanarayana stated that, let him speak the name of the person who told him at first.

Satyanarayana said that the farmers in Amaravati region approached him about the rent for their farmlands. He said that the problem will be resolved within 10 to 15 days.

The minister slammed the opposition parties which have been demanding not to change capital from Amaravati or else they would hold agitations. He reminded that the same opposition parties had fought against the misdeeds and illegalities that took place in Amaravati capital region during earlier TDP regime. Now what happened to them, he asked.

BJP, Congress, Left Parties and Jana Sena Party are now raising their voice against the YSRCP government; demanding that capital should not be changed from Amaravati.

Minister defended his comments on Amaravati once again that it is not fit for capital. He asked that, was Amaravati not in a flood-prone area, did it not submerged when 8 lakh cusecs of flood water came in. The minister recalled that almost a decade ago the region received 11 lakh cusecs of flood water, but now the same area is inundated even if a lesser amount of flood water get in.
