Minister Kannababu Inaugurates Tirupati Cooperative Bank centenary celebrations

Tirupati: Minister for Agriculture and Co-operation K Kannababu inaugurated the two-day centenary celebrations of Tirupati Cooperative Bank at a colourful function here on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, Kannababu said that the bank created history by completing 102 years of successful existence and competing with nationalised banks by offering a wide range of services to its customers.

He said due to dedicated service of the chairmen and directors coupled with the employees responsibility, the bank emerged into a biggest cooperative town bank with 1.2 lakh share holders and a business turnover of Rs 400 crore. Local MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy said that efforts are on for further development of the bank by providing innovative service.
