Minister Vellampalli Srinivas distributes books in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: Minister for Endowments Vellampalli Srinivas said that the government is keen to provide good education to all and Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy introduced Amma Vodi scheme to impart quality education.

The minister participated as chief guest at a programme organised by Sri Durga Malleswara Yonduri Ramalingeswara High School in Bhavanipuram and distributed books, uniform, bicycles to girls.

On the occasion, the minister appealed to all the students to utilise the opportunities provided by NGO organisations with self-confidence and courage. He also honoured the Class X passed students with gold medals and provided financial help to students pursuing polytechnic.

School president G Satyanarayana, secretary Sivaramakrishna Kishore, headmaster A Krishna Kumar, B Solanki, B Malleswara Rao, Ch Edukondal Reddy, K Sambasiva Aravind and others were present.
