Ministers Suresh and Srinivasa Reddy release Amma Vodi beneficiaries list

Ministers Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, Audimulapu Suresh releasing the Amma Vodi beneficiaries list online at Ongole on Monday evening

Ongole: The education minister Dr. Audimulapu Suresh, energy, environment, forests, science and technology minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy released the list of beneficiaries under the Amma Vodi program through online at Spandana Meeting Hall in collectorate at Ongole on Monday.

Suresh said that they are implementing the Amma Vodi scheme transparently. He announced that they have released the beneficiaries list online from the applications received up to Monday evening. He said that they will release a comprehensive list on December 26 and announce the final list on December 30. He said that there are 7274674 students enrolled from Class I to Class X in 64533 schools in the state, and another 10.94 lakh intermediate students also become eligible. He announced that the beneficiaries would receive the money in their accounts on January 9 and requested the parents to spare Rs 1000 from the benefit for the maintenance of sanitation in the schools. He also announced that the number of beneficiaries raised to 4.94 lakhs from the 4.91 lakhs in the district.

Srinivasa Reddy said that the government is taking necessary action to see all eligible beneficiaries, irrespective of the party affiliation, receive benefits under the scheme. He said that the chief minister is directly transferring the money into the accounts of mothers as promised before the elections and advised the children to study well. The collector Dr. Pola Bhaskara, JCs JV Murali, TS Chetan, K Krishnaveni, Kandukur sub-collector Bhargava Teja, and others also participated in the program.
