MITS student gets chance to do Masters at Asia University

Madanapalle (Chittoor): P Arjun Chakravarthi, final year B Tech (Electronics & Communication Engineering) at Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science, Madanapalle (MITS) got an opportunity to do Masters in Asia University, Taiwan with a full tuition fee waiver," principal of the College Dr C Yuvaraj said in the press meet on Thursday.

Yuvaraj said that the student has been working in the university for two months, as a part of his research internship on Artificial Intelligence, which gave him the opportunity to pursue a free master's degree.

"This degree is offered by the Asian University for free and he will be completing his PG in Taiwan within two years," he stated. Last year, 5 students of MITS college had got their admissions in master's at Asian University, Taiwan, he said. He said that his students are internationally talented, and Arjun will get a monthly stipend of Rs 14,000/-for two years, in addition to full tuition fee waiver.

College management, Dean (Administration) Dr Srimanta Basu, International Relations Coordinator U Vijaya Lakshmi, Head of ECE Dr Rajasekharan, faculty and students congratulated the students.
