MITS students selected as speakers at Stanford University programme

Madanapalle: Ms Sucharitha Chokkappagari and Umeshwar Reddy Nallasani, B.Tech final year – ECE and University Innovation Fellows, have been selected as fabulous Fellows of University innovation fellowship programme d.school of Stanford University, for Dubai Eastern Hemisphere Meetup to be held on April 24th to 28th in United Arab Emirates(UAE), Dubai, principal told in press meet on Monday.

These two students are selected among 1800 university innovation fellows, while only 8 were selected all over the world, two students are from MITS, he said. They will give presentations on their UIF work to the participants.

Additionally, their organisational and leadership skills will be put to work as they lead and mentor the teams of Fellows from different areas of the world. These students will deliver an "Ignite Talk" and also the impact they have bought within the campus eco system and their contribution to the movement. The Principal Dr. Yuvaraj said that the students from Dubai, India, USA and UAE will participate in the event in Dubai.

He added that one of our student Ms. Tasmia Samrine - Electronics and Communication Engineering will also be participating in this event as University Innovation Fellow. The University Innovation Fellows programme is a global programme run by Stanford University's Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (d.school). The college management, principal Dr. C Yuvaraj, Co Coordinator - International Relations Ms. U. Vijaya Lakshmi and others congratulated the students for their achievements.
