MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy distributes rice cards in Tirupati

Tirupati: City MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy distributed government rice distribution cards to the eligible beneficiaries, at MR Palli Junction here on Tuesday

Municipal officials have arranged this rice cards distribution programme. Beneficiaries in the wards of 18,19, 20,21 and 22 received the rice distribution cards by the MLA.

Addressing the beneficiaries, the MLA said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is keen to implement several welfare schemes for people. As part of Navaratnalu, government has come forward with new rice distribution cards , MLA added.

Later , MCT commissioner PS Girisha said that civic body identified 64,450 beneficiaries for distributing rice cards. As part of that we distributed 20,670 cards to beneficiaries through ward volunteers, he added.

In the programme municipal additional commissioner D Haritha and other officials were present.
