MLA Kasu thanks CM for sanctioning medical college to Gurazala
Guntur: Gurazala MLA Kasu Mahesh Reddy hailed the decision of state government sanctioning a medical college to Gurazala Assembly constituency in Guntur district. Addressing a press meet at YSRCP district office in Guntur city on Friday, the MLA thanked Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for sanctioning a medical college taking his request into consideration and expressed confidence that Palnadu region will get better medical facilities in the days to come.
He felt that the Budget presented in the State Assembly will boost the development of the state. In a separate statement, Municipal Teachers State Federation president S Ramakrishna welcomed the state Budget presented in the Assembly on Friday. He said the Ammavodi scheme will strengthen the government schools.
Meanwhile, in a statement, AP Brahmanachaitanya Vedika state co-convener Siripurapu Sridhar criticised that Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy did not allot sufficient funds for Brahmin Welfare Corporation in the Budget. He said, Rs.100 crore funds allocation is not enough for Brahmin Welfare Corporation. He recalled that the TDP government allocated Rs.380 crore for Brahmins in the three years.
