MLA RK Roja adopts orphan girl, vows to fulfil her ambition to become a doctor
Tirupati: APIIC chairman and Nagari MLA R K Roja adopted P Pushpakumari, an orphan from Pachikapalem to fulfil her ambition of becoming a doctor.
The girl who is an inmate of a Home for Girls run by Child Welfare Committee here in the city after completing her Intermediate qualified in the NEET Examination but due to financial difficulties unable to join in medicine. Moved by the plight of the poor girl, the Committee officially approached many sponsors including the trust run by R K Roja to support the girl to study medicine. To her surprise, Roja on Sunday visited the Home to meet the girl to inform her decision to support her education.
Speaking on the occasion, the senior YSRCP leader said that on the occasion of her party supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy birthday she resolved to adopt the girl and see that her ambition to become a doctor to be fulfilled. Pushpakumari, who was overwhelmed with joy in an emotion choked voice, thanked Roja and vowed that she would complete medicine to serve the poor by setting up a hospital.
