MLA urges for enhanced transportation facility to Sri City
Tirupati: Sullurpet MLA Kiliveti Sanjeevaiah has appreciated Sri City for the increased economic activity in the region. He visited Sri City on Sunday and was briefed by the MD Ravindra Sannareddy on the developmental activities.
The MLA said more than 15,000 people are commuting to Sri City from Naidupeta and Sullurupeta Mandals. But the existing public transportation facilities are not adequate to meet the demand. He stressed the need for extending all the EMU trains that run between Chennai and Gummidipudi up to Sullurupet.
He also said that the new day-express train being introduced between Gudur and Vijayawada should be extended up to Sullurupeta. In the same way, there is a need to give facelift to Tada railway station by creating all amenities and constructing one more platform. He solicited the support of Sri City management in achieving these requirements.
