Modi a dictator: Chandrababu Naidu
Kandukur/Chimakurthy/Chirala/Ponnuru: Calling Narendra Modi as a hardcore political terrorist, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said the Prime Minister was behaving like a dictator and has failed even to take note of the advice given by BJP founding-member L K Advani who said those who oppose the BJP should be treated as adversaries and not as enemies.
Naidu said it was time to protect democracy and for that everyone should vote against the BJP in the Lok Sabha and YSRCP in the Assembly elections. If you vote for the BJP or YSRCP, there will be no future elections, he said. Posing direct questions to the people, the Chief Minister pointed out that the YSRCP manifesto does not speak even word about capital Amaravati and Polavaram. This is a clear indication that they want to stop Amravati and Polavaram project.
The Chief Minister alleged that Jagan addresses meetings in AP in the mornings and goes back to Hyderabad Lotus Pond in the evenings, washes KCR's feet and comes back to the state next morning. If you vote for Jagan, no area in the state will get water as there will be no linking of rivers and Polavaram project will be stopped.
"All rights on Srisailam and Nagarjuna Sagar will be handed over to Telangana," he said and assured that his government will convert Chirala into a mini Mumbai in terms of growth. "Modi has no humanity and if you want to protect your future and the future of your children, do not vote for Modi and YSRCP," the CM said.
Stating that he has been a fighter all through his life, Naidu said he will never bend before evil forces. He said he would bend only in front of the people who have been standing behind him like a rock. Claiming that he belongs to all sections in society and not any one particular community, Naidu appealed to the people to support and work for the victory of TDP in all 175 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha constituencies.
Naidu announced that small airports would come up at Kavali and Ongole. The national highway will be connected with the Beach road. He said he will waive the Rs 9200-crore government housing loan for 43 lakh houses and construct houses for other beneficiaries for free. He said he is committed to withdraw the contributory pension scheme for government employees.
Naidu alleged that 95 MLA candidates and 12 MP candidates fielded by the YSRCP are facing criminal charges. He explained that 9 of them are facing cases by the CBI, 12 facing rape charges, 5 theft and 5 others are facing forgery charges. Another 5 are facing charges of outraging the modesty of women and their leader is facing 31 cases, said Naidu.
"Jaganmohan Reddy says he will appoint 10 people at village level. But he does not explain in what capacity they would work. Already there are VROs, VAOs, MPOs and Asha workers. Will he remove them?" he asked. "These 10 people will be used for grabbing the lands and assets of the public and register them in their names overnight without informing the real owners," Naidu said.
