Visakhapatnam: District in-charge Minister and Animal Husbandry, Marketing and Fisheries Minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana has accused the TDP government of wreaking havoc on the state exchequer and said the present government will not hesitate to continue its assured schemes in spite of the challenges involved.

Speaking at a conference here on Saturday, he said the State was facing crisis in the form of shortage of funds but added that it would not cast a shadow on the continuance of welfare schemes promised ahead of elections.

"TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has emptied the state exchequer by using a vacuum cleaner. But the government's decision to move ahead has shocked the Opposition party leaders," he said.

The Minister announced to launch a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to look into the land scam in Visakhapatnam and assured to bring the accused to book. All the lands encroached upon and diverted will be taken back by the government.
