MP Adala Prabhakar Reddy proposes barrage on Penna with Rs 100 crore
Nellore: MP Adala Prabhakar Reddy said that there are proposals for constructing a barrage on the river Penna at Mudivarthi with Rs 100 crore. Inaugurating the water plant constructed with a cost of Rs 25 lakh under MPLADS at Stove beedi colony in Kovvur town, Prabhakar Reddy said that the state government had sanctioned Rs 300 crore for irrigation projects in Kovur segment and the works would be taken up shortly.
The MP said they would develop the constituency in all aspects in the coming two years. He appreciated the efforts of Nallapureddy family for developing the constituency during their regime. Prabhakar Reddy said the village secretariat buildings were constructed with good quality. The MP also interacted with the locals and assured of resolving their issues.
The MP also inaugurated CC road in Subbareddypuram and laid foundation stone for the works of Veguru-Pallepalem road.
