MP M Bharat assures to solve problems of retired bank staff in Rajamahendravaram
Rajamahendravaram: MP M Bharat assured to solve problems of Indian Bank retired employees. He participated as a chief guest at the retired Indian Bank employees meeting held at the Ananm Rotary Hall here on Sunday.
The MP said he would discuss the issue of raising the pension of retired employees during this Parliament session. He promised to work hard to provide facilities for all the employees who took voluntary retirement under the VRS scheme.
All India Bank Retired Employees Union president SM Desh Pandey said that they should all fight together and pressurize the Central government for the realization of their rights. They put in lot of hard work over the years, Pandey added.
Indian Bank General Manager KS Sudhakar Rao said the bank would take adequate steps for the welfare of the employees. About 400 retired employees were present on the occasion.
