MP Margani Bharat Ram asks AKNU to start job oriented courses

Rajamahendravaram: MP Margani Bharat Ram has said that Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) will be developed in all fronts in the state. Inaugurating the Skill Development Centre, Amenities Centre and College Development Council office along with MLA Jakkampudi Raja here on Monday, he assured to develop the varsity in skill development which benefits a lot to the unemployed youth.

He said Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was very much particular to enhance skills among youth to get jobs easily. The universities should come forward to develop skill development centres along with introduction of job-oriented courses, he stated and advised the varsity management to provide quality education to students where it is having 434 affiliated colleges in Godavari districts. It is the duty of teaching fraternity to uphold the values and ethics of university as it was named after great poet Nannaya, he pointed out.

VC Prof P Suresh Varma said as many as 90 laptops and computers arranged in the centre for the benefit of students. Registrar Prof S Teki and other faculty members were present.
