MP promises to improve air connectivity from city
Visakhapatnam: Members of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Air Travelers Association on Monday convened a meeting with newly elected Visakhapatnam MP MVV Satyanarayana to discuss ways to improve both the domestic and international air connectivity. The MP promised to closely work with the bodies for development of port city.
The MP and the members of the both bodies discussed to improve both the domestic and international air connectivity especially connecting Vizag to Dubai by direct flights and improve late night flights to Delhi.
Improving air cargo from Visakhapatnam, need for cargo liners, creation of new industrial parks and improving infrastructure in existing estates were also discussed in the meeting. Creation of new IT parks of minimum one million sft each to create increased employment and improving tourism in the city were also discussed.
President of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce G Sambasiva Rao, members from Air Travelers Association O Naresh Kumar, D S Varma and others led the delegation to the MP.
