MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju writes to CM YS Jagan to brief over allegations on him
YSRCP MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju has sent a six-page letter to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy over the latest developments. Prior to sending a letter to the chief minister, he released a song which says India will emerge victorious under Modi's rule in case if there is the war with China.
Raju in his letter referred to show cause notice served on him by Vijayasai Reddy and technical mistakes in it. He found fault for using YSR Congress letterhead instead of the registered name. He said this could lead to cancellation of party recognition. He further said he did not indulge in any anti-party activities. Instigated by some YSRCP activists were threatening him with consequences like a threat to his life if he goes to his constituency.
Speaking to media, Raju told that his letter to AP CM was not replying to the show cause notice given to him by Vijayasai Reddy. He said it was a letter to Jagan explaining his stand and sought time for meeting so that he can clear the air and allegations levelled against him.
Referring to the song released by him, he said it was only expressing his patriotism. It was prepared by one of his friends who is a young music director. Nothing more. "Please don't link it to politics. I only shared a patriotic song," Raju said.
