Mukesh Ambani meets YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at Tadepalli
Tadepalli: Reliance Industries chief Mukesh Ambani called on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the latter's residence here on Saturday.
The meeting lasted for over one-and-half hours. The two reportedly discussed the possible investments in the State.
Anant Ambani, son of Mukesh, Rajya Sabhya members Parimal Natwani and Vijayasai Reddy were also present.
It may be recalled that the land allotted to the Reliance Group in Tirupati by the previous government was caught in dispute after the present government wants to take back some of the land. In this backdrop, it has been widely reported that Reliance wants to withdraw the investment in the State. The AP government has been trying to contact Mukesh Ambani to set things right and YSRCP Rajya Sabha MP V Vijayasai Reddy was instrumental in arranging the meeting. However, the visit of Mukesh Ambani has been kept secret till Saturday afternoon. No media other than the media belonging to the YSRCP leadership was given a clue. Vijayasai Reddy alone went to the Gannavaram airport to receive Mukesh Ambani.
