Mulugu Siddhanti honoured with title

Vijayawada: Endowments Minister Vellampalli Srinivas said that through the astrology of noted astrologer Mulugu Ramalingeswara Varaprasad many people have prospered.

The Minister expressed his delight in honouring the astrologer popularly known as Mulugu Siddhanti with the title Jyothishya Sastra Vignana Visarada at a programme held at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram here on Saturday.

The programme was jointly organised by Kameswari Vedic Services, Maa Telugu Talli Foundation and Film & Television Promotion Council of Andhra Pradesh.

Chief Secretary LV Subramanyam, Durga Temple Executive Officer MV Suresh Babu, noted astrologers, veteran journalist Turlapati Kutumba Rao and others were present on the occasion. A book titled 'Jyotishya Phalithalu' was released on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Minister Srinivas recalled that Mulugu Siddhanti was the only astrologer who said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would become the Chief Minister of AP at the time of elections. Mulugu was accurate in analysing the future outcomes in business, personal and political lives and early warning on natural disasters.

Chief Secretary LV Subramanyam said that with vast astrological knowledge, Mulugu Siddhanti was working for the benefit of the community.

He said that everyone should take inspiration from him and follow the guidance with moral values. Other guests also spoke on the occasion.
