Muttamsetti dares Naidu for public debate on corruption in Visakhapatnam
Visakhapatnam: Minister for Tourism Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao on Saturday stated that he has been working for the development of district since day one he assumed charge as minister.
Addressing media at Circuit House here, the minister dared former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for a public debate on corruption charges and land grabbing cases in Visakhapatnam, which took place during the TDP tenure.
He alleged that Chandrababu Naidu, who did not take proper welfare measures for the people during his five years stint, was now provoking them by levelling baseless charges against the Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy government.
Srinivas Rao stated that the law will take its course and the culprits will be punished as per the law. VMRDA Chairman Dronamraju Srinivas condemned the comments of Chandrababu Naidu on the state government during his two-day party review meeting. He said the comments were baseless and provocative in nature.
