Mylavaram MLA Vasanta Venkata Krishna Prasad donates 1 lakh for mosque construction in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: Mylavaram MLA Vasanta Venkata Krishna Prasad participated in a mosque reopening ceremony at G Konduru mandal on Thursday. The MLA was welcomed by the mosque committee members. He participated in the special prayers performed in the mosque. Later, he handed over a cheque for Rs one lakh to the committee members for the construction of the mosque.

On the occasion the mosque committee members asked the MLA for financial help from the State government for the construction work. He told that he would talk to the deputy chief minister Amzath Basha to provide financial assistance for the same.

Committee members Shaikh Babu, Meeravali, Rangavali, Hussain, YSRCP leaders Sambasivarao, V Rambabu, Thomas, K Esuraju, V Tirupathi Rao, V Venkata Srinivas Rao D Sudhakar Reddy and others were present.
