NACO awards 5-star quality standard to ICTC-SVIMS

Tirupati: Integrated Counselling and Testing Centre (ICTC) of SVIMS has achieved 5-star quality of standard and received 'Certificate of Excellence' for maintaining high standard of quality in HIV testing from the National Aids Control Organisation (NACO) on August 2.

The certificate was presented basing on an assessment of quality management systems at ICTCs. According to the directions from NACO, APSACS has conducted quality management systems assessment in ICTCs with the technical support from SHARE India and State Reference Laboratory (SRL) in a phased manner. The assessment for ICTC-SVIMS was done in the 4th phase in May 2019.

The Director of SVIMS Dr TS Ravikumar congratulated RMO-II and in charge ICTC-SVIMS Dr Koti Reddy, lab technician R Vamsikrishna Phani and counsellor U Venkateswarlu on this achievement.
