Naidu blames Govt for Atchannaidu 2nd surgery
Amaravati: TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu criticised the Government for deterioration of MLA Kinjarapu Atchannaidu's health and said a second surgery became necessary because he was made to sit and travel in the vehicle for 21 hours despite his delicate health following the first surgery. In a statement on Wednesday, Naidu said that YSRCP government was resorting to inhuman treatment and harassment of the opposition leaders in the State.
Earlier, he enquired about the health of former minister Atchannaidu amid reports of reopening of his wound due to stress from prolonged travelling.
He called up and sought the latest details from the superintendent of Guntur General Hospital. The superintendent said they have conducted a second surgery on Atchannaidu as bleeding did not stop. The TDP chief asked them to give the best treatment.
Naidu accused the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of hatching a conspiracy to cripple and weaken the emerging political leadership among the backward classes in the state.
He condemned the latest cases filed against another former minister Ch. Ayyanna Pathrudu while Yanamala Ramakrishnudu was already implicated and Atchannaidu was arrested and harassed. There were glaring examples of the Jagan's atrocities against BC leaders, he observed.
Naidu expressed concern that within a matter of four days, false cases were filed against three BC former ministers. The cases against Ayyanna were instances of the CM's grudge against the BC leaders as a whole. On the other hand, BC welfare schemes were being cancelled completely and cuts were imposed in BC welfare funds.
The TDP chief said that it was nothing but sadism to take revenge against the Opposition party activists and leaders.
