Naidu demands CBI probe into I-PAC team
GD Nellore(Chittoor district): TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu demanded CBI probe into the alleged involvement of I-PAC team members who stole the documents pertaining to Tirupati constituency from the chief electoral office itself. Addressing a public meeting ‘Raa-Kadali Raa’ in GD Nellore constituency of Chittoor district on Tuesday, Naidu felt that it was a serious matter which has to be probed deeply to find out all the truth and culprits are punished.
He gave a call ‘Raa Kadali Raa’ to the people to ensure that the state should move towards the golden era and not towards the stone age. Women and youth are vexed up with the present government and determined to defeat it, no one can stop them.
Clearing doubts on the future of village/ward volunteers appointed by the YSRCP government, he assured them that those who work for the people sincerely and extend services to them will have no problem. But if they work for the YSRCP and are involved in politics, the TDP government will not leave them. “The CM is deliberately creating a sort of insecurity among the volunteers by saying that if the TDP government comes to power, volunteers will lose their jobs which is not correct,” he clarified.
Mocking the new slogan of ‘Jagan Mark’ by the Chief Minister, Naidu compared various policies of the present government with that of the previous TDP regime asking the people to see the difference between Jagan Mark and ‘TDP Mark’.
He said when the TDP government was in power, the electricity tariff for a home was Rs 200 which has now gone up to Rs 1,000. From no power cuts regime during 2014-2019 now the people are facing power cuts. He went on to recall various other aspects like sand and liquor prices, DSC notifications, employment opportunities, damaged roads, etc., Naidu compared Jagan Mark with that of ‘CBN mark’.
Asking the women whether Jagan Mohan Reddy fulfilled his promise that he will ask vote again only after prohibiting the liquor, Naidu said that instead Jagan borrowed Rs 25,000 crore by mortgaging the revenue through liquor sale.
Making an appeal to the people not to vote for smugglers, he pointed out that Rs 50 crore being shifted from Tamil Nadu is looted by some unidentified persons. This incident has been pushed to the backdoor with a fear that facts will come to light if the case is investigated, he added. He strongly believed that CM Jagan will get defeated even in Pulivendula as the voters there too are unhappy with the YSRCP government.
