Naidu misleading people on IRS officer suspension
Amaravati: YSRCP MLA Ambati Rambabu criticised TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu by saying that he was misrepresenting the suspension of IRS officer Jasti Krishna Kishore.
Addressing a press conference at the YSRCP headquarters at Tadepalli in Guntur district on Saturday, he also alleged that Naidu used abusive words against the chief marshal at the State Legislative Assembly.
Ambati said the Opposition leader was unnecessarily highlighting the suspension of IRS officer.
He said that the government suspended Krishna Kishore as he was facing corruption charges and based on the report given by the Industries Department.
"It is quite common that the government would suspend any official who faces corruption allegations and orders for an inquiry.
Despite these normal procedures, Naidu is highlighting the suspension issue with the help of his friendly media and saying that the suspension was illegal," he said.
The previous TDP government was corrupt and the current government is working to root out corruption in the system and the recent suspension was a normal course of action, Ambati stated.
He said Naidu was misleading the people stating that the IRS officer was suspended as he was part of the team that conducted a probeon Jagathi Publications.
He said Naidu's attitude towards the marshal in the Legislative Assembly was deplorable.
It might be the frustration of losing power which made Naidu lose his control and act weird, wondered Ambati.
