Nara Lokesh cancels his Anantapur tour, to visit Kadapa to meet JC Prabhakar Reddy

TDP National Secretary-General Nara Lokesh has cancelled the trip to Anantapur. He is scheduled to go to Kadapa following in the wake of arrests of JC Prabhakar Reddy and Asmith Reddy who would shifted to Kadapa jail. The statement was released to this extent. First, he decided to tour Anantapur to meet with the family members of JC Prabhakar Reddy and Asmit Reddy. However, amidst dramatic developments, the police sent JC Prabhakar Reddy and Asmith to Kadapa jail, therefore, Lokesh cancelled his Anantapur tour.

Police arrested JC Prabhakar Reddy and Asmith Reddy, who was arrested yesterday in connection with the irregularities in Diwakar Travels and moved to Kadapa headquarters. The two were produced before the judge and were remanded for two weeks. They were originally scheduled to be taken to Anantapur Prison. However, the prison officials refused to let them in because there were some inmates with coronavirus symptoms.

The police informed the judge about the matter and advised them to shift them. Following the orders of the police and the duo were evacuated to Kadapa jail with the intention of creating a law and order problem if they are moved to Tadipatri jail. Nara Lokesh will go to Kadapa to meet them as they are currently in Kadapa jail and hence cancelled his Anantapur tour.
