Nara Lokesh slams at YS Jagan govt. over Eluru incident, alleges it as govt. failure
With the cases of mystery illness increasing in Eluru district of West Godavari, TDP leader and MLC Nara Lokesh responded to this. He lamented that the present plight of the people was due to the negligence of the government. He said that he was concerned about the situation in the rest of the state while the people of health minister Alla Nani's constituency are facing such strange disease. Nara Lokesh heaped criticism on the Jagan Mohan Reddy government on Twitter to this extent.
He demanded that better medical care should be provided to those who become ill immediately particularly special attention should be paid to the health of children who are most affected. "As per the basic information, the cause of disease is said to be due to contaminated drinking water, the government should be held accountable for this," Nara Lokesh
On the other hand, so far 185 people have been affected by the strange disease in Eluru. Victims are being rushed to a hospital for treatment. While 158 people were admitted to the Eluru Government Hospital, many who were recovered were sent home. As many as 140 people have been discharged from the hospital.
