From Undavalli, CM and Lokesh family members have the voting right. It's also expected that by making Lokesh contest from this constituency, then this effect will be seen in Krishan, Guntur districts.
Currently, YSR Congress party MLA Alla Rama Krishna Reddy is representing from Mangalagiri Assembly constituency.
For some time MLA Alla has become a headache to the TDP Government. In Sadavarti lands case Alla Rama Krishna Reddy has approached the high court.
Undavalli, Penumaka, and other villages come under CRDA limits. MLA Alla is trying to create objections in the construction of the capital city by filing the case in the court.
