NCC cadets take up cleanliness drive in Tirupati

Tirupati: AS part of the fortnight-long Megha Swachh Pakhwada (MSP) cleanliness drive under `Swachh Bharath Mission', the NCC cadets took up various activities in local colleges and parks on Thursday.

The programme was held under the aegis of NCC Group HQ, Tirupati and 11 (Andhra) Air Tech NCC. The programme is being held from September 17 to October 2 coinciding with Gandhi Jayanthi. It is aimed to enhance awareness on cleanliness.

Lectures, seminars, street play etc. were taken up. SGS College II Air wing cadets took up cleanliness programme in Jagajivanram Park in which students and also NCC staff led by Fg Offr P Uday and others participated.
