Need 18,000 Crore for development of Amaravati, CRDA reports to CM YS Jagan

The CRDA has informed the government that the construction of Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh, would require Rs. 18000 crore. This was reported to CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at a review meeting held on Monday. On the orders of chief minister the official have set up a team with IIT students to find out as to what extent is the work currently underway in Amravati? How much does it cost? and etc.

A team from IIT Roorkee has examined the work and issued a report, which covers the development of the roads, infrastructure, development of plots to be given to farmers and other tasks as per the current requirements.

CM YS Jagan also reviewed over the construction of new medical colleges in the state and examined the blue prints. State Minister Botsa Satyanarayana and other officials were present at the meeting.
